Housekeeping (ENG)

Are you someone with an eye for detail and do you know how to make everything look as good as possible? Then you are the housekeeping employee we are looking for for our common areas!

What challenges await you?

• As a housekeeper, you are responsible for taking care of the interior of the main building, including cleaning the restaurant, the halls, lobby and toilets.

• In addition to the main building, you will also take care of the staff areas, such as our canteen, changing rooms and offices, and you will help with room cleaning if necessary.

• Your daily tasks will include reviewing and handling open tickets.

• You will also ensure that all your supplies are in stock.

Are you a good fit for our toucan family?

You have an eye for detail and don't overlook anything. You ensure that all our common areas shine! You can work independently and know how to get things done. Of course, you are hospitable and know how to help our guests where necessary!

In addition, we hope you have the following:

• You are available from the 1st of May 2026;

• You are flexible and have no problem working morning and evening shifts. You are also available on weekends and public holidays;

• You have an MBO level 2 working and thinking level;

• You are available for at least 24 hours per week.

If you live within a radius of 10 kilometres, you are eligible for the E-bike lease, for which you only pay 7% additional tax liability. Parking for both cars and E-bikes (including charging) is free at our hotel!;

• We offer the option of staying in our company accommodation;

• A comprehensive vitality plan with various activities, focusing on the health of our colleagues;

• 25 days' holiday per year based on full-time employment, so you can enjoy a wonderful holiday;

• We offer delicious meals for our staff at a small charge. We believe a good break is very important!;

• You can stay with us for €69.00 at a large selection of Van der Valk hotels and you will receive a trial night at the start of your employment;

• You can also enjoy a 15% staff discount in our restaurant Eiber, bar Hop and our bakery Koekoek;
